Raymond Sharp

Director of Programs, Northrop Grumman

Raymond Sharp is currently leading a team of approximately 1500 Mission Systems employees that specialize in Software development and ASIC and FPGA Technologies. Raymond started with Northrop Grumman in 2003 with the Aerospace Systems sector in Redondo Beach, CA. Raymond spent 9 years as a Communication Systems System Engineer supporting various Space programs and program elements. Raymond’s roles in Redondo Beach spanned subsystem requirements analysis, to link budget ownership and management, to hardware subsystem system engineering lead, to Hardware Installation manager, to Software integration lead to program thread lead to functional manager. Raymond spent 3 years in Australia as a Hardware Department manager on an Operations and Maintenance contract before joining his former team in the Fairfax, Virginia office. Raymond leads his current team from the Mclean, Virginia office. Raymond graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and has a Master’s of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Raymond is married and has one 6 year old daughter.
